Request Again

The Request Again feature (also called "Start New Review" or "Re-review") allows Security Officers to initiate a full re-evaluation of a previously reviewed questionnaire (eg, 1 year later after the fist submission)

How it works

From Vendor Profile > Resources, the user can click the menu next to a submitted questionnaire and select Request again.

When this happens:

  • The previous submission is moved to the History tab.

  • The questionnaire status changes back to Pending.

If the questionnaire template has been updated in Settings between the initial submission and the clarification request, those changes are automatically reflected.

For example:

  • New questions added: the vendor will see their previous answers, while the new questions will appear empty.

  • Existing questions changed: the vendor will need to answer the updated questions again, while all unchanged questions will keep the vendor’s previous answers.

Key rules

  1. All questions are re-processed -- Unlike Request Clarification, all questions are re-evaluated, including those not changed by the vendor.

  2. Findings are never removed (draft or live):

    • If an automatic finding already exists for a question, it is not re-added.

    • If a finding was previously deleted, it is re-added.

  3. Question type changes -- If a question type changes (e.g., text to single choice), all previous data for that question is reset as if it were new.

  4. Scores are re-applied from the current template definition.

Review modal

In the review modal:

  • Findings are separated into two groups:

    • New findings -- Findings generated from the latest submission.

    • Already active findings -- Findings that were already present from the previous review.

  • The previous version of the questionnaire is accessible as a read-only submitted view.
