Vendors
The Vendors tab is the core page for managing all your third-party vendors in Galink.
Overview
The Vendors tab displays all your vendors in a table view with powerful search, filter, and customization capabilities. By default, vendors are sorted by most recently added.
Search and filter
Search -- Find vendors by name using the search bar.
Filter -- Filter vendors based on tier, review status, lifecycle, organization, and more.
Sort -- Click any column header to sort the table.
Archived vendors -- Hidden by default. Use filters to reveal archived vendors.
Table columns
Each user can personalize their table by showing or hiding columns. Default columns for new users:
Column | Description |

Name | Vendor name (links to the vendor profile) |
Tier | Risk classification (Tier 1, 2, or 3) |
Assessment Status | Current review status |
Security Owner | Person responsible for security review |
Additional available columns include:
Score -- The vendor's current security score (hidden by default, sortable).
Score trend (last 3 months) -- Score variation with iconography (e.g., +5 pts, -3 pts, = 0 pts). Hidden by default, sortable.
Lifecycle -- The vendor's current lifecycle status -> Inactive/Active/Archived
Custom properties -- Any custom properties configured by your organization.
Assessment status
Each vendor displays one of the following assessment statuses:
Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
Needs initial review | No prior assessments exist for this vendor. |
Needs review | The next assessment date has passed. |
Up-to-date | At least one assessment exists and the next assessment date is in the future. |
Vendor grouping
Vendors sharing the same URL/domain are automatically grouped together. When grouped:
If a property has the same value across all grouped vendors, that value is displayed.
If values differ: text/number properties show aggregated info, user properties show the union of assigned users, and date properties show the most recent date.
