Notifications

Galink sends automated email notifications to keep Security Officers informed about vendor activities and portfolio status.

General settings

• Notifications are controlled by a feature flag

• Users with a Disabled role do not receive notifications.

Data breach Alerts

Receive an alert as soon as a vendor is detected on Ransomware.live or CERT-FR.

Usage notifications

Email #1: Daily Resource Activity Update

Goal: Notify Security Officers of new vendor-submitted resources.

Trigger: Daily at 10:00 AM CET, Monday to Friday, when:

• Notifications are enabled.

• One or more resources have been submitted since the last email.

• The user's role is not disabled.

Resource actions reported:

• Submitted

• Rejected

• Marked as unavailable

No email is sent if no new submissions are detected.

Email #2: Monthly Summary

Goal: Provide Security Officers with a monthly overview of their assigned vendor portfolio, highlighting missing tierings or assessments.

Trigger: First working day of the month at 9:00 AM, when:

• Notifications are enabled for the tenant.

• The user is Security Officer for at least 1 active/inactive vendor.

• The user's role is not disabled.
